1. Read Psalm 107 all the way through three times making note of the four case studies: Give a title to each one - (107:4-9; 10-16; 17-22; 23-32). Make note of what took place each time for God to change their situation around.

2. Which of the four cases studies in Ps 107 have you found yourself in? Or reflect on a time when you were in a difficult situation and turned to God and poured your heart out to Him. How have you experienced God’s help and or deliverance? Did you express your thankfulness to Him?

3. Share in your group examples, stories of how God has delivered you. Give Him praise publicly in your group - Read Ps 107:32. Why does the Psalmist instruct us to give God praise publicly and not just privately?

4. Read Ps 107: 43 and put this verse in your own words. Then ask yourself what you will do to keep this wisdom close to your heart as you would keep a friendship close to your heart.

5. Keep a journal entry on what you are crying out to God for and like the Psalmist of 107, record what God does. Share your “case studies” with your children and children’s children.

6. Pray and offer up a sacrifice praise right now!
