1. In Romans 12:1, Paul urges us to fully dedicate ourselves to God based on His mercies. Share with your group what merices of God you have experienced in your life and how they have made an impact or have changed your life?
2. In your group, go through chapters 1-11 and list as many merices of God as you can find. Then have someone read your completed list. What do these mercies do to the attitude of your heart? Now, read Romans 12:1
3. Together, in prayer thank God for His merices.
4. One on one with God, in prayer, think through your responsibilities, your dreams, your possessions, your schedule - everything about you and make a complete, total, and full presentation of yourself to God. Hold nothing back. Offer your body as a once-for-all commitment to Christ. Renew your commitment each day.
5. If you have not been baptized since you have become a Christian then make the decision to make a public declaration of giving your allegiance to Jesus Christ at our next baptism
6. Starting today and with a renewed passion remove anything in your life that you know is not pleasing to the Lord, redirect your heart, your desires, your passions towards Gods will and live with Him and live for Him. (also see 1 Samuel 7:3)
7. Spend time with a friend who you see living Romans 12:1-2 and ask them what they do to keep their mind and their life renewed? You may want to ask them to mentor and or coach you to do the same.
