1. Tea is universal.

It comes in all kinds of flavors but it is universal.

Even so, leadership comes in all kinds of styles and cultures yet it also is universal.

2. There three parts to a tea pot.

Even so, all leader development has three parts:

3. Tea flavor is different

In order to get Asian tea one must put Asian tea in the pot. If you put Western tea in the tea pot will you get Asian tea? Tea has a unique flavor throughout the world based on what kind of tea it is, where it is grown, how it is grown and how it is brewed.

The ConneXions Leadership Model is integrated in a contextual and indigenous manner to develop leaders from and within their own context. The ConneXions model since it is not a formula nor a curriculum allows leaders to be formed with respect to the uniqueness of their context.

4. Tea drinkers enjoy the differences

Those who grow, make and drink tea do so in their own unique way but have an appreciation for teas from other parts of the world. They share flavors and ideas without losing the flavors of their own culture and context.

The ConneXions Model enables those in leadership development to grow leaders contextually and yet at the same time have a common language with those around the world to learn from one another.

5. Tea quotes'

We had a kettle; we let it leak:
Our not repairing made it worse.
We haven't had any tea for a week...
The bottom is out of the Universe.
~Rudyard Kipling

We have a leadership crises around the world and in the church. Our leadership methods, programs, curriculums and formulas need more than repair. We need a leadership renaissance. The ConneXions model is a new paradigm of leader development that is actually patterned after the leader development model of Jesus.

Remember the tea kettle - it is always up to its neck in hot water, yet it still sings! ~Author Unknown

Healthy leaders are made in the crucible of life where God puts a new song in their mouth — a song of praise to our God!

Drink up!
