1. In your group, share a serendipity you experienced and have enjoyed.

|ˌserənˈdipitē| the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way.

NOTE: We define these events by “chance” but actually God has “choreographed” them. What do you say to that? How have you seen the “hand of God” in those events?

2. As a group, read 1 Corinthians 15:3-5 and discuss the evidence of the facts for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. What are objections to the resurrection and how do you answer them? (Also read, Lee Strobel’s book - The Case For Easter).

3. Individually, ponder the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Read the Gospel accounts of the crucifixion, resurrection, ascension of Jesus Christ. Ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you and then share your meditations with a friend and or with your group.

4. Group: What would be true if Jesus had not raised from the dead? What is true because Jesus has raised from the dead?

5. Group: Pray together celebrating Jesus’ victory over sin, death and judgement so that you are no longer under condemnation but are forgiven and sealed with the Holy Spirit until the Day of Final redemption!

6. Individually/Friend: How is your life different NOW that you have a relationship with the Risen Christ? Read the accounts of the Apostle Paul and how his life changed (Acts 9, Phil 1:21-26, 2:17-18, 3:4-14, 17, 4:11-13, 2 Tim 4:7-8). Ask a Christian who serves the Lord with zeal what motivates him or her to live a life devoted to Christ?

7. Share your insights from point #6 with a likeminded believer. Make changes in your life and hold each other accountable for those changes.
