1. Do a word study on the heart through the book of Proverbs, write down your observations and share your findings with your group. (group, instructional)

2. Pray through Ps 139:23-24 Focus on these four phrases: Search me; Try me; See in me; Lead me (solo, spiritual)

3. Memorize Proverbs 4:23. (solo,spiritual)

4. Read Matt 6:21 and take the time to take an inventory of what you treasure the most and determine if it belongs in the treasures on earth or treasures in heaven category (group, instructional)

5. Choose and read a Christian biography of a hero or heroine of the faith with your group to discuss and how to imitate their faith (Heb 13:7) (group, relational)

6. Submit your heart to the Lord and make the necessary changes in your thoughts, desires, affections, habits. (solo, experiential)
