5C Focus: Christ - 1

Theme: Intimacy with Christ

Audience: High school students

1. Share with your group of three a time when the Lord became real or personal to you and describe what took place.

2. (individual) Where can you go to get away alone with the Lord? When? How often this month?

3. (individual) Read the Bible (start with one of the Gospels) and write down in a journal your observations and how this applies to your life.

4. (group) Have a devotional time with your group sometime next week and spend 30 minutes praising and praying together

5. (Individual) Read Ephesians 3:14-21 3x’s and pray each verse to the Lord.

6. (individual/group) Read “My Heart Christ’s Home” booklet and then discuss in your group your observations and what you will do in response to this booklet

7. (individual) identify what keeps you from having a daily time with the Lord and make the necessary changes. Plan on getting back with your group in one month to encourage each other in your walk with the Lord.
