1. In your group discuss: Why is it when the church teaches on money, many freak out?

2. As a group share What kind of training have you recieved regarding how to handle, save, invest, give, budget money? Share any stories about how a financial course like Crown Ministries or Peace University has benefited your life.

3. Group: We need to build our financial lives on a solid biblical foundation. As a group, look into what the Scripture has to say about finances. What sections of verses come to mind? (read especially Matt 6:19-23, 24-34, 1 Timothy 6:7-19)

4. Personal/Mentor: The topic of finances is the source of much worry, angst and conflict in relationships (especially marriage). This year determine to become financially fit starting now by taking a financial course. Develop a plan and work the plan. Remember, this is a process, not an event. Find a mentor to encourage you along the journey.

5. Personal: In honoring God with your finances, what percentage of your income do you give to the God’s work? Present yourself and all that you have before the Lord, saying, “All that I am and all that I have is yours.” (Rom 12:1, 1 Cor 6:19-20). Now ask how you can honor Him by increasing your giving to your local church and Kingdom work outside the church.

6. Personal: God says to “prove” Him with your finances. Take the “God’s Guarantee” challenge based from Malachi 3:10.

7. Personal: For 90 days commit to give of your income in one of these three ways:

a. I will give ______% with a step by step goal of giving 10%

b. I will give 10%

c. I will give over 10%. _________%

At the end of 90 days, we will send you a letter asking you what you have learned about giving to the Lord and how you have experienced Him in your life these 90 days.

8. Personal/Group: Keep a journal of these 90 days and record what you experience between you and the Lord. Share what you learn with your group.
