1. Group: What do you think of the miracle stories recorded in the Bible?
2. Group: What do these miracles do for you? Have you experienced a legitimate miracle? How about God showing up in your life through answered prayer? How did either of these affect your faith? What lessons have you learned from the ordinary or mundane aspects of the Christian life?
3. Individually: Ask God about where your heart attitude is toward the miraculous.
- A. Like Simon in Acts 8:18-23 Selfish
- B. Like the Pharisees in Acts 7:51 Resistant
- C. Like the Bereans in Acts17:10-11 Eager
4. Group: Read Matt 11: 1-7, Mark 6:1-5, Mark 16:19-20, Heb 2:3-4, Heb 6:5, Heb 11:6 What insights and lessons do you learn from these passages. (Observation, Interpretation, Application)
5. God moves powerfully in and through our lives not to make us happy but to make us holy. What can you do beginning this week to draw near to God and be yielded to the Holy Spirit?
Pray for an unsaved friend asking God to move in their heart in order for you to share Christ with them this week?
