According to our ConneXions ā€œ5Cā€ model, a healthy Christian leader knows God (Christ), was formed and lives in supportive and accountable community (Community), has integrity (Character), knows the purpose of God and presents it with credibility, clarity and passion (Calling), and has the necessary gifts, skills and knowledge to lead the people in the accomplishment of this purpose (Competencies) – and he is continually growing in all five areas.

Leader development is focused on building each of these 5Cs using the model Jesus used to build his disciples. This model is described as Four Dynamics (4Ds): spiritual, relational, experiential, and instructional.

To build the 5Cs with the 4Ds is to create collage designs of spiritual, relational, experiential and instructional learning experiences to build leaders. This is the heart of the ConneXions model.

By learning to build or implement 5C/4D learning collages, you can design your own customized leader building program, appropriate to your own context, language and culture.
