- Think of someone who has influenced in you and made a difference in you in a positive way. Describe what it was that made the difference in your life?
- Individual/Group: Make a list of the qualities or attributes that come to your mind about the people who have had a life-changing impact on you. Share your reflections to your group. Discuss the value of modeling, mentors, coaches, supporters in the development of a person’s life. Where would you be without them?
- Group: Read John 13:34-35, 1 Cor 13:1-3, Galatians 5:22, 1 John 3:16-18 and answer this question: Is there anything more important in all the world than love? What keeps us from loving like this?
- Group: Read 1 John 4:8, 1 Cor 13:4-8. Where does this kind of love come from? What are the characteristics of this kind of love?
- Individual: Write a letter of appreciation to someone who has loved you like this and thank them for investing in your life.
- Individual/Pair: Pray Luke 6:27 this week about someone you are having trouble with. Share with your prayer partner and pray together for this person.
- Individual: Seek the Lord’s counsel about the love condition of your own heart. James 3:13-18 is a great passage of Scripture to pray through while asking the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the condition of your heart.
